Job Description

  • Provide customer service by acting as intermediary between sales offices and their customers as it relates to shipping, receiving, and availability of products, trial units, demo units, or product literature.
  • Handle the daily shipping and inventory control tasks while working with the company's shipping sub-contractor.
  • Release orders to warehouse using Microsoft Windows-based database and confirm shipments upon request from sales representatives or customers.
  • Make sure invoices for customers are released accurately and on time.
  • Approve and release orders from backorder list, based on current and future availability of products.
  • Place product purchase orders every day to meet the projected needs of sales and to maintain warehouse stock.
  • Analyze inventory to determine minimum quantity to keep warehouse stocked on optimal level.
  • Confirm purchase detail list and air shipping dates provided by the parent company and accordingly enter thorough and accurate information in the database.
  • Receive, inspect, and clean returned products including trial units and properly record in the system if any discrepancies are present.
  • Travel to warehouse, as needed, to manage and assist the sub-contractor.
  • Proactively identify areas to improve the operation efficiency and initiate projects to achieve such improvements.
  • Identify the required documents that should be submitted to the regulatory body.
  • Files permits and clearances with PEZA, BOC, NTC, DTI, DENR and other government agencies.
  • Liaises with the forwarder and broker on the shipment arrival, shipment requirements, shipment monitoring, and ensure all necessary documents are submitted.
  • Closely works with the Bureau of Customs and PEZA officers on importation and exportation of our goods and its relevance to meet our company requirements.
  • Preparation of PEZA documents.
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly performance report to PEZA.
  • Other duties or projects, as assigned.

Qualification

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/college degree, preferably in Customs Administration or other Warehousing related course.
  • Candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in a fast moving goods deliveries Industry.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft-based applications, particularly Excel and Word is required.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both written & oral is required.
  • Must have a positive outlook and a professional attitude.
  • Must have a logical and diligent approach to all tasks.
  • Must have keen attention to details.
  • Should have extensive knowledge on Import/Export, PEZA, NTC, BOC-Customs.

STARTING SALARY AT
P 30,000 – P 50,000
